Converting Fractions to Percentages

Simplification of Fractions
For ease of calculation, fractions can be simplified before conversion to a decimal. For example, 15/60 simplifies to 1/4. This simplifies the division: 1 ÷ 4 = 0.25, which, as shown above, equals 25%.
